Painted Walls

    If walls are perhaps too rough to get a good finish for straight painting we can cover them with an embossed Novymura paper and paint this afterwards.  Again as seen in this garden room we can lose the radiator under the window by painting it in the same blue as the walls.  Notice here too ceiling paper has been added to provide a texture to the ceiling and again hide a number of imperfections in the plastering.  Bookshelves  have been left open because there might be a decision later to change these as the room progresses.
